Dairy allergies

Dairy allergies are very common allergies among adults and in children too. Dairy allergies are nothing but allergy to milk and milk derivatives and by products like icecreams. Two kinds of proteins like casein and whey, which are found in the milk, are the allergens. Another compound called lactose sugar is indirectly related as the individual will have lactose intolerance (as the body lacks the enzyme lactase to digest the lactose sugar) and not treat it like an allergen. Symptoms may vary from skin rashes or itchiness, eczema, digestive reactions, or hives. As in any other allergy, a specialist has to be consulted and an allergy test done for the treatment of dairy allergies. Treatment consists of allergy medications and avoidance of milk and milk products that vary from yoghurts, curds, icecreams, tea or caffeine with milk, and chocolates, which contain milk solids.
Individuals who suffer from dairy allergies may resort to Chinese tea to refresh themselves, as they are not able to consume tea or coffee with milk. Sometimes on very rare occasions, Chinese tea allergy has been reported as Chinese tea is made from plants.
Caffeine allergy is related to substance abuse. As an individual consumes high amounts of caffeine and his tolerance increases, his body will start allergic reactions.
